Paint correction is a controlled removal of the topmost layer of clearcoat — just enough to level the swirl marks, hologramming, and light scratches that fog your paint. We inspect under multiple light sources (LED swirl lights and direct sunlight), measure paint thickness at every panel, then choose a one-, two-, or three-stage polish depending on what the paint actually needs. Pads, compounds, and machine speed are selected per panel — flexing trim and edges get hand polish, flat sections see the long-throw machine. The result is paint that looks deeper, glossier, and ready to accept a ceramic coating or PPF.
Why this service
Multi-stage correction
Compounding to remove defects, polishing to refine, finishing to maximise gloss.
Paint thickness measured
We measure before and after to confirm we removed only what was needed.
Done by hand on edges
Trim, panel edges, and tight contours are polished manually — machine where it makes sense.
Ready for coating
The finish is the right substrate for ceramic or PPF — the protection layer needs flawless paint underneath.

Frequently asked questions
How long does paint correction take?
A single-stage polish takes about a day. A full two- to three-stage correction on a heavily scratched car can run 1.5–2 days.
Will this remove deeper scratches?
Light to medium scratches yes. Anything you can catch your fingernail on usually goes through the clearcoat and can't be fully removed — only minimised.
Should I get paint correction before ceramic coating?
Yes — coatings lock in whatever's underneath. Correcting first means the gloss you see is what you keep.
